Psychiatric Home Health Care: A Team Approach

Holistic home health care is increasingly important as managed care and shortened hospital stays become the norm. With the advent of psychiatric home health care programs across the country, exciting possibilities arise as mental health needs can be addressed in the natural home environment. This benefits not only those with primary psychiatric diagnoses, but also those whose medical conditions are complicated by mental health issues.
