The deep commitment of the senior companions and visiting nurses to their patients ensures continuity of care, quality of service, and maximum functioning and independence for the patient despite limitations. It also ensures compassionate caring, heart-to-heart connections, and a holistic approach to service, with healing taking place medically, physically, socially, and emotionally.
