Hospice is a unique and very specialized health care delivery system established on the principle of quality, cost-effective managed care. Service is multidisciplinary and comprehensive in nature. An individualized approach is used in meeting the terminal care needs of both patients and families. Hospice meets diverse needs both effectively and efficiently by managing care for patients and families, providers, and reimbursement sources.
