Managed care: The coming revolution in home health care

Reimbursement for home health care is not the same as it used to be. Managed care integrates the delivery of services with the financial aspects of the payors. This article provides the reader with an overview of the information necessary for managed care negotiations. It presents the risk factors of the various models of delivery as well as the key issues for managed care companies and home care organizations.
