Caring for disoriented clients with Alzheimer's disease at home

This article addresses the home health care professionals' responses to the many needs of the Alzheimer's patients and their families. Safety needs of patients, strategies for caregivers, and caring for the caregiver are topics discussed. Included is a safety check- list, which can be incorporated into a home assessment.
