Caring for older homebound adults: A chronic illness perspective

This article discusses the unique challenges faced by both the elderly patient and the home care professional regarding the chronic disease process. The author integrates the concept of "maintaining control" into specifically described interventions. At the core of the article is the idea of the home care professional learning strategies from "the best teachers"—the patients themselves.
