Supporting Client Recovery in Home CareDepartment of Occupational Therapy and Occupational Science, Towson University, Towson, MD bmerryman{at}towson.edu This article discusses trends in health care with increasing services being provided within the community setting. Challenges are presented relative to diverse client demographics including age. Helping the client adjust to the liminal state while recuperating at home is essential to the achievement of positive outcomes and in supporting the client throughout his or her recovery period.
