Hardiness, Job Satisfaction, and Stress Among Home Health NursesUniversity of Texas at Arlington School of Nursing in Arlington, Texas
Lee HealthCare Inc., in Hamilton, Texas This descriptive study examines the relationship between hardiness, job satisfaction, and stress among home health nurses. Results of the study indicate that nurses with high levels of hardiness tend to have lower stress and higher levels of job satisfaction. Implications for home health managers and administrators include providing a high-hardy environment to improve retention and to decrease staff turnover.
