Successfully providing wound care to patients under the prospective payment reimbursement system can be considered a challenge or an opportunity. Home care organizations are seeking methods to provide cost-effective wound care with optimal clinical outcomes. This article will discuss specific strategies for surviving the upcoming changes while simultaneously meeting the goals of providing wound care in a cost-conscious environment.
