Type II Diabetes

Diabetes requires lifelong self- management. Home health care professionals are often an integral part of clients' health care teams, ensuring that they receive quality medical and nursing care. The education of clients about diabetes must be ongoing and applicable to the needs of a diverse population. This article provides a review of the importance of diet, exercise, and other interventions that can help a client with diabetes live a full life with as few complications as possible.
