Staff Development through Field Evaluation Days

This article describes a method of staff development called field evaluation. It is a key to successful staff development. It illustrates the field evaluation as a system of performance measurement, policy compliance, and a springboard for continuance. Field evaluations incorporate the benefits of onsite mentoring, with the added value of onsite patient care evaluation.
